Cynosure’s advanced Icon threeforme™ treatment is specifically developed to address a range of common skin concerns in just one session. The result is a revitalised, radiant and flawless complexion, making this treatment an effective way to improve fine lines, wrinkles, age spots, sun damage and unsightly veins, all at the same time!

The procedure works by using Pulsed-Light technology to treat discolouration and UV damage followed by microbeam laser technology to gently encourage skin renewal for a smoother appearance. Fine lines, wrinkles, scars and other surface imperfections are dramatically reduced, restoring a youthful complexion, so that you can feel your best every day.

Minimal discomfort is reported during the treatment with little to no downtime; some patients may experience minor redness post treatment, which often resolves in just a couple of days. Your skin will improve with each session and upon completion of the treatment course, you will notice textural improvements, reduced redness and pigmentation.​

How many treatments will I need?
​
Each threeforme™ treatment takes only 30 minutes to complete, a series of 2 to 6 treatments is best (one a month), with minimal downtime.

Is an Icon threeforme™ treatment right for me?
​
The procedure is performed in two steps, or what your Dermal Therapist may refer to as “passes”:

The first pass will use an intense pulsed-light technology to treat discoloration for a more even-looking appearance. This includes sun-damage such as freckles, brown spots, or age spots. This pass also addresses unwanted facial veins including broken blood vessels, spider veins and rosacea.
​
The second pass will use a “microbeam” laser technology that will gently renew the skin for a smoother-looking appearance. This unique technology works by stimulating new collagen and elastin production – the keys to the support structure of our skin. Improved skin structure results in the reduction of fine lines, wrinkles, scars and other surface imperfections.

Is there any downtime?
​
Experience may vary by patient; with most Icon treatments, there is typically minimal downtime. Your face may become red and swollen for up to 5 days. You may also experience bruising (vascular treatment), darkening/crusting of the pigment, and bronzing. This technology has been optimised for providing the best results on all three skin conditions with minimal social downtime.

When will you see results with a threeforme™ treatment?
​
Brown spots may darken and then flake off in the next one to three weeks. Some improvement in facial veins may be seen immediately. You’ll see continued results in fine lines, wrinkles, and scarring over the next six months as your body produces new collagen. With each treatment, you’ll see more improvement.
